TIME AS ONE TIME (taken from SPIRIT AND TRUTH by Samuel Mann)
As a way of gaining some understanding of the unity of time, we refer to the explanation by theoretical physicist, Michio Kaku. On the internet’s YouTube he talks about Time and explains the idea that all of time, as we know it, exists at once. According to Dr. Kaku, there are many different frequencies of time existing together, and the time of which we are aware is only one of those frequencies. We experience just one particular time because our consciousness is “tuned in” to the vibratory force of three dimensions. It is much like tuning into one particular television frequency to watch a single program while there are many other programs broadcasting simultaneously. This “tuning” is called sympathy by Dale Pond who explains that sympathy is extremely important to us because without it we could not hear sounds or see objects. We act as “receivers” of vibrating waves coming from the environment and, because of our sympathy with them, we are able to translate these vibrations into comprehensible objects and sounds.
Dr. Kaku’s explanation directly relates to Cayce’s statement, given many years before Kaku’s, when he said that “all time is one time,” and also that, in our material plane, time is dependent upon the “rate of the vibratory force” as it is set into motion. Cayce was in agreement with Kaku when he told one individual that “all that is has been, and all that is to be has been already.” And to another person Cayce said, “You are already in eternity, your soul has been there since the beginning.”
Meher Baba explained that, since there is no time in eternity, everything that has happened, is happening, or will happen, has already happened. This is because there is no past or future in eternity, only the everlasting present where everything came to conclusion with the initial urge of the Creator to begin creative activity.
Even Eckhart Tolle agrees as he asks:
Have you ever experienced, done, thought, or felt anything outside the Now? Do you think you ever will? Is it possible for anything to happen or be outside the Now? The answer is obvious, is it not? Nothing ever happened in the past; it happened in the Now. Nothing will ever happen in the future – it will happen in the Now.
Have you ever seen a child’s book that lets them make up a story by offering different choices? Such a book is Journey Under the Sea by R.A. Montgomery. The book description is:
This book is different from other books. You and YOU ALONE are in charge of what happens in this story. There are dangers, choices, adventures, and consequences. YOU must use all of your numerous talents and much of your enormous intelligence. The wrong decision could end in disaster – even death. But, don’t despair. At any time, YOU can go back and make another choice, alter the path of your story, and change its result. Now enter the mysterious and beautiful world of Atlantis… YOU may be famous, you might decide never to return to the earth world above, or you may not get a chance to make that decision. Whatever happens, good luck!
This is much the same idea as our concept of time. We have many decisions to make and the ones that we choose are the ones we experience. All of the other possibilities are there, but we just don’t get to experience them. Mind boggling isn’t it?
